Want to know the do’s and don’ts of sending product samples on TRIBE? Read on for the lowdown

Brands are not required to provide samples, however, your campaign may benefit from sending out samples if:

  • The product isn't readily available or not yet available in market

  • The product is expensive or has a higher barrier to entry

  • The product is limited edition

  • You're a new brand that isn’t established in the market

Alternatively, you can:

  • Request the creator purchases the product themselves, and includes the cost in their fee

  • Provide a discount code to the creator to purchase the product

Regardless, be sure to include your preference when building your brief to give creators a clear idea of what to expect.

Note: Sending products does not replace paying for creator content.

How can I arrange to send samples to creators?

Once you've identified a creator you'd like to work with, based on their pitch, you'll be able to communicate directly with them via the chat function on their submission. We recommend having this conversation before you Pre-Approve them to ensure you have all of the information you need before making this commitment.

Once creators have received the product, they'll shoot and submit the content ready for your final approval.

Please note, we’re unable to take responsibility if any samples go missing, or if creators don’t follow through and submit their final content. However, we will do everything we can to ensure they do, as it’s in their best interests to do so.
