In order to be recognised as a creator in Meta's ecosystem, it is mandatory to upgrade your Instagram to a Creator Account and link your Instagram account to a Facebook Page (brand or business).
You'll then have the ability to participate in paid partnerships. Woohoo!

Connecting your Instagram accounts to the TRIBE app:
Step 1 - Convert your Instagram to creator or business account
Open up the Instagram app
Go to Menu from your profile page (top right corner)
Click on ‘Settings’
Select ‘Account’
Select ‘Switch to Professional Account’ at the bottom of the page
Follow the prompts to set up your account
Step 2 - Create a Business Facebook Page or you can use an existing one if you have it already
Step 3 - Go to your Facebook Page dashboard and connect your Instagram there. This step needs to be done from the Facebook Page dashboard on your laptop/computer. Do not perform this step in the Instagram app.
Navigating through Facebook to Connect your Instagram Account
Open your laptop/computer and go to the Business Facebook page you want to connect your Instagram account to.
On the left side of the page, locate and click on "Professional Dashboard".
Once the Professional Dashboard opens, again look for the left-hand side menu.
In the menu, find and click on "Linked Accounts."
This will take you to the Linked Accounts section.
In the Linked Accounts section, you can connect your Creator/Business Instagram account to your Facebook page.
Click on the option to connect your Instagram account.
Pay close attention to choose the right Business Page and account during the connection process.
If you accidentally select the wrong options, don't worry! Simply start the process again.
Instead of clicking "Continue" on Facebook, look for the "Edit Details" option located below the continue button.
Click on "Edit Details" and it will allow you to make changes to the selected Page and Account.
Take this opportunity to choose the correct Page and Account that you want to connect.
Once you have made the necessary adjustments, proceed with the connection process.
Follow the prompts and provide the necessary information to link your Creator/Business Instagram account to your Facebook page.
Step 4 - Once you have connected your Instagram to your business Facebook Page, now it’s time to connect Instagram to the TRIBE app. Navigate to the YOU section/tab in the TRIBE app.
Step 5 - Scroll down to Social Account section
Step 6 - Click on “+”
Step 7 - Click on Instagram
Step 8 - At this step, you can choose to click on “Edit Access” and select the accounts you would like to connect. This will display a bottom sheet with multiple toggles.
Start by selecting the Page that you have connected your Instagram to as part of Step 3.
Make sure all the requested permissions are toggled on.
Once you are happy with your selection, close the bottom sheet and click on “Continue as [Yourself]”.
Step 9 - If you have performed all the steps correctly so far, your account will show up in your connected social section.
How Do I Upgrade to a Creator Account?

Open up the Instagram app
Go to Menu from your profile page (top right corner)
Click on ‘Settings’
Select ‘Account’
